Welcome to the interim Ramadhan version of halal.com.au. Although this web site is not 100% functional yet, we hope you are enjoying using the service so far.
Our official launch for halal.com.au is planned to coincide with the 2004 Sydney Multicultural Eid Festival and Fair. At this stage, you will have a lot more features available to you to find great halal dining around Australia.
You will be able to search for halal restaurants, cafes, takeaways, etc. in a number of different ways including:
- finding a halal eatery by region / postcode
- finding a halal eatery by typing in keywords
- viewing a street map with directions on how to get to your selected halal eatery
- view the entire menu for selected eateries before actually going there
- give ratings to halal eateries at which you have dined
- and much, much more...
This Articles section will be used to keep you up to date on the latest happenings with halal.com.au, as well as discussing general topics of interest regarding the halal way of life. Over the coming months we look forward to bringing you editorials from many members of Australia's Islamic community.
